About Bob:
Bob started as WV2RJZ in 1961, and celebrates 50 years of being a licensed amateur this year. He progressed to General in 1962 and Amateur Extra in 1969, and took the call N2BB in 1977. Bob was active in the LIDXA in the 1970s and served as its Bulletin editor for two years, before taking a sabattical from amateur radio while the family was growing and business intervened. In retirement, he has restored a proper sense of priorities and is once again active, and can be found often on CW, SSB or RTTY from 160-6 meters. In his four years on the Isle of Man, Bob has 9BDXCC, WAS on 160m - 15m and has worked 40 Zones on 160 - 15 meters.
Bob is a (mostly) retired electronics engineer, living with his very supportive partner Ann on the Isle of Man
