About Kazu:  First amateur licensed in 1957 as JA7JU, Kazu began DXing very early on, especially on 6 metres. Kazu holds US Extra Class callsign KH2K (since 1988), also Canada VE7RJU and East Malaysia 9M6JU. He is on the DXCC #1 Honor Roll and has 193 DXCC countries confirmed on 6 metres band (2010).

Kazu has operated from a number of DXCC entities between 1977 and 2008.
Operations have included KG6/R (now KH0), KG6(now KH2), BT4RJU & BT1HHL, 9M6JU, T88JU, 9V1ES, CY7J, BS7H, KH2K/AH0, JD1/O, 9M0C, D68C,3B9C. DX0JP and DX0EME. Kazu was responsible for the first 6 meter operations from KG6RO(Saipan) in 1978, 9M6MA (East Malaysia) in 1980, BT4RJU (China) in 1985 and BS7H (Scarborough Reef) in 1997.
